Andrea Maria Jeremiah, an Indian actor and singer, is best known for her performance in Tamil and Malayalam films. Annayum's Rasoolum has marked her Malayalam as well as Tamil acting debuts. Andrea Jeremiah was raised to a Anglo-Indian family at Arakkonam in Tamil Nadu.Andrea's father is a lawyer at the Madras High Court. She is the younger cousin of an assistant researcher in Leuven, Belgium. Jeremiah was born in Chennai and went to National Public School and graduated from Women's Christian College. The woman has claimed that she was an avid fan of science and wanted to become psychiatrist when she passed her 12th board exams.Andrea was a classical pianist when she was eight. This film was a film adaptation of James Siegel's novel Derailed, with Andrea portraying Kalyani a homemaker who's husband is involved in an affair and is targeted by a blackmailer. Andrea was approached following Simran Shobana's death and Tabu. It was released early in 2010. In 2011, she accepted the role of a support as Venkat Prabhu was in Mankatha. Mankatha premiered on August 11, 2011. Annayum Rasoolum which is a romance film directed by Rajeeev Ravi, released in 2013, marked the actress's Malayalam debut.
